CEC-Wide Ministries
- Music Ministry
The CEC choir actively evangelizes through music, occasionally holding musicals and regularly visiting families or nursing homes (especially during Christmas) to present the Gospel in song. Our Praise and Worship Team also contributes significantly during each worship service through the rendering of inspired, uplifting music.
- Evangelism Activities
CEC has instituted several venues to fulfill its purpose of sharing Christ. Every summer, for instance, CEC holds three outdoor worship services, focusing on evangelism. We have increasing success through this ministry, even as we continue to improve and reach out to others. The outdoor worship services also become a means for our church family to come together in fun – games and other activities are held to help us simply enjoy each other’s company.
- Sunday-School Classes
We give into deeper study of the Bible through our weekly Sunday School classes. Topics are kept timely and are always with clear practical application. Present classes include Adult Class, Young Professionals, Youth Group, Junior Class, and Kiddie Sunday School.
- Regular Prayer Meetings
The first Friday of the month is always reserved for prayer meeting. CEC members come together in praise and thanksgiving, as well as supplication, to actively minister not just to church needs but to personal needs as well of our members.
